| Abstract: Running Big Data and AI platforms as the Hadoop ecosystem including Spark has become a standard in the industry for implementing Data Lakes. Laying the ground for data analytics, these platforms also support the business units at Bosch in gathering, storing and gaining insights into vast amounts of data. |

Next to introducing Bosch and its fields of business, Hannes Hannak provided an insight into how Spark can deliver benefit for manufacturing use-case and some challenges that operational teams face in establishing and running such platforms at large enterprises. |
